There's no video this time but it doesn't make it any less special. Serene has been around for 3 whole years and we stood strong through all of it.
People will laugh and say we didn't achieve anything but they have no clue. :)
Competing is not everything to us, it's not the ultimate goal. Yet we've fought our way through 38 official tournaments including 6 iterations of Masters League and Ultimate League.
We've proven we can bring the game to teams that outclass and outstat us. And despite what some may have expected it wasn't getting any easier as we levelled up. Quite the opposite - the game kept changing and the gap kept growing.
It's not an easy or pleasant thing to continuously give it all you have only to get the same old result in return. The realization that you have to really push you limits and overcome massive disadvantages to only get a slim chance of achieving a positive result can be very discouraging.
So after 3 years I think we deserve a break.
Our 39th official tournament is not happening any time soon and we'll also have to wait for our 100th official win. :)
Still, I feel nothing but pride for this team and its members. Thank you for the wins, draws, losses, random political discussions, memes and all the rest. I'm looking forward to kicking some more balls with you all. Casually. No pressure.
Our ship is moored now and the sea is peaceful. Is it the quiet before the storm?
