The history of the club that is known today under the name of Serene does not start with the same name. In fact, it revolves around a number of stages and transformations that made this team what it is today. 

Cruyff players from Youdanko, International and Excel joined forces to create a new club on Pele to face a new challenge. Thus, on the 6th of April 2013, Vanguard was formed.

As the time went by, the club grew in size and skill and the beginning of 2014 marked the creation of an affiliated team. This is when Rhenium was born. It was the beginning of a new era as Rhenium now held top players while Vanguard started functioning as its academy.

Unfortunately, things didn't always go well. Months after its creation, Rhenium started losing core players due to external and even global reasons.

But hope lies in the heart of even the darkest soul. And even the darkest moment can't last forever. By the end of July 2014 Rhenium had managed to rise back from the dead and even reach it's prime activity thanks to new loyal members.

Obstacles didn't end there. In order for the caretakers to fully control the pmc it had to be recreated. And it was. The new pmc assumed the name of Serene and welcomed ex-Rhenium members on August 11th 2014.

More than two years later, our ship keeps sailing and our hearts keep lighting the way.
